Lacrosse

Dreamsports Center's Summer 2010 Indoor Lacrosse Program is designed for all school-aged children, grades 1 through 12.  It will be an 8 week program, meeting once a week for one hour,  from July 18 through September 5, 2010.  Sessions will be either Sunday or Saturday afternoons, and possibly weeknights.

Summer 2010 Lacrosse Age Groups:

• Co-ed Lacrosse Grades 1-3 is an instructional program that is designed to teach the basic skills such as throwing, catching, cradling, and positioning on the field.  Equipment required for grades 1-3 will be a lacrosse stick only.

• Boys Lacrosse Grades 4-6 will be instructional as well as scrimmage play.  The instruction will include basic skills such as throwing, catching, cradling, and positioning on the field.  Equipment required for Grades 4-6 will be a lacrosse helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, cup, and lacrosse stick.

• Girls Lacrosse Grades 6-8 (Middle School) will include instruction as well as scrimmage play. Instruction will include basic skills such as throwing, catching, cradling, and positioning.  Local schools may register as a team or individuals can register to play and we will place them on a team.  Equipment required will be a lacrosse stick, mouthpiece and goggles. **NOT AVAILABLE FOR SUMMER 2010** Interested players have the option to play in the HS Girls Program.  Please contact Dreamsports for more information.

• Boys Lacrosse Grades 6-8 (Middle School) will consist of games only.  Local schools may register as a team or individuals can register to play and we will place them on a team.  Equipment required for Grades 6-8 will be a lacrosse helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, cup, and lacrosse stick.

• Boys HS Lacrosse Grades 9-12 (High School) will consist of games only.  Local schools may register as a team or individuals can register to play and we will place them on a team.  Equipment required for Grades 9-12 will be a lacrosse helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, cup, and lacrosse stick.

• Girls HS Lacrosse Grades 9-12 (High School) will consist of games only.  Local schools may register as a team or individuals can register to play and we will place them on a team.  Equipment required will be a lacrosse stick, mouthpiece and goggles.

All new players must purchase a reversible lacrosse jersey. The cost is $10 and jerseys are available in our pro shop.

REGISTRATION BEGINS May 24, 2010

COST:  $80 per player ($65.60 for members*)

All new players must purchase a reversible lacrosse jersey. The cost is $10 and jerseys are available in our pro shop.
